Very rare poster from 1929 in fine condition with original card that have never been removed. This poster is similar to one shown on page 175 in the Wizard of Oz Collector's Treasury book (see last photo). The American Seating Company's Oz poster, circa July 1929, was one of the earliest Oz product endorsements. Perhaps to appeal to educators and school children, an attempt was made to "humanize" the popular Scarecrow and Ptchwork Girl characters - in spite of their familiarity and the fact that similar advertisements featured the traditional book characters. Condition: Posters are rolled. The "Oz" poster has some faint marks near the Patchwork Girl which appear to have been caused by the mailing tube. The posters were never hung so there don't seem to be any nail holes. There are some light creases and a few tiny tears along the edges. All the posters remain in Good condition.
