Wogglebug Game, 1905, Parker Brother. Sold 1/20/17
The Wogglebug Game of Conundrums. Parker Brother 1905. Complete set of 51 gray Conundrum cards and 512 buff-colored Answer cards with one page "Rules for playing The Woggle Bug Game" and Parker Bros flyer for two other card games Pit and Block. Within the original chromolithographed box. Condition: Box faded, missing a small portion 1/2 inch of of the cardboard from outside. Cards unbent and all present.
The earliest toy associated with OZ and one of the rarest examples of Oziana. The "What did the Woggle-Bug Say? Contest made this Oz character a household name and inspired all kind of novelties. The Wogglebug Game of Comundrums may have been an unauthorized use of Baums highly magnified insect as neither Baum nor his book The Marvelous Land of Oz (1904) is mentioned anywhere on this game.

I have read somewhere that there is only 6 known game in existence. Last identical game sold in 2008 in New York auction for $4400.
